LATES/ABSENCES
• Please call the Safe Arrival Line at 1-833-250-2290 before 8:00 a.m. if your child is to be absent that day. If an absence is not reported we will make every effort to contact a parent before 10:00 am.

• Students must report to the office before going to class when they are late.

• If the parent is late for a student pick-up, please call the Muirhead office at 416-395-2710 to inform the Office Administator.

LUNCH PROGRAM
• As lunch supervision is limited, any child with an adult at home at lunch for supervision should eat at home.
For those students who must eat lunch at school:
• Bring a healthy lunch (required utensils included).
• Bring plastic containers (no glass).
• If behaviours are not consistent with lunch routines and rules, a letter will be sent home on the first offence. Any further issues will be dealt with by the principal. Students could be asked to leave the lunch program temporarily.
• A parental note is required for an absence from the lunch program.
• Due to students who have severe peanut allergies, please refrain from sending peanuts and peanut by-products.

REPORTING
• Reports are issued to parents at the end of each school term: Dec., March, June
• Parent teacher conferences are arranged for all students in December
• Appointments may be arranged with the teacher by the parents at any time by phoning the Muirhead office at 416-395-2710

LEAVING DURING THE DAY
If it is necessary for a student to leave during the day, for any reason, please have a parent/adult check in at the office and sign the student out. For safety reasons, we do not feel that a student should be unaccompanied on the street during school hours.

ILLNESS AT SCHOOL
If your child is ill, we will inform you. Sometimes your child may need to lie down for a while. However, at times, it is better for the student to go home. Please ensure that the school has up to date phone numbers.
