Well the week started out with everyone wondering whether there would be school, but thankfully this was averted and we quickly got back to normal! Thank you to all for the patience with respect to the entry buzzer and other items that were affected by the work action.
Winter Coat Drive
We are collecting clean, gently used, winter coats and snow pants. Any size! Please drop them off in the box in front of the office.
Painting on Ashpalt
We are very excited for some new line painting to take place on our playground. Painters will be adding some needed colour and activities for outdoor play. We plan to document this exciting, final step to our school yard redesign. If the weather cooperates, this should be completed within the next two weeks!
Halloween Costume Drive
New this year, we are doing a: take-a-costume-leave-a-costume, and whatever is left over after Halloween we would use for OPAL. There is a rack in the front foyer ready and waiting!
ADHD Awareness Month
The Centre for ADHD Awareness, Canada has three exciting events coming up this October. Check it out HERE

We (REALLY) need Help
Every day, volunteers help Jasmine, our nutrition coordinator, prepare snack to every student in the school. We really need more help. If you have any time available from 8:30 - 9:30 Mon- Fri, please contact Jasmine via email: jfbd77@yahoo.com
