The Shaughnessy School Council is dedicated to supporting, promoting, and enhancing meaningful involvement and participation of parents and school staff in order to improve the education and well-being of children in Shaughnessy Public School.

Get Involved 

• Please consider attending a meeting and joining the discussion. Your feedback matters. Is there something you'd like to add to the agenda? Let us know.  
• School Council is looking for a parent to attend monthly meetings, take notes, and prepare meeting minutes as Council Secretary. 
• We are also looking for a parent to join the Caring & Safe Schools Committee and the School Improvement Plan (SIP) Committee.

Volunteering on pizza days and at events like the holiday crafts night and fun fair is a great way to meet other parents. You can sign up for a shift and learn more by clicking here.

 Council Meetings

Meetings are held monthly from 6-7pm. All parents and guardians are welcome.
