Summer Program Opportunities

Camp Kearney has been operating since 2000 at the Scarborough Outdoor Education School. Camp Kearney was created so that children would have the opportunity to enjoy a memorable summer camp experience. For the staff and campers who have been, Camp Kearney is much more than just a camp; it is a natural paradise, a network of friends, a career opportunity, and a home for the summer.

Located just north of Huntsville, Ontario, Camp Kearney encompasses 400 hectares of beautiful rolling hardwood and coniferous forests and includes 3 pristine lakes in the Canadian Shield country.

The immediate waterfront is a very private sandy beach. Facilities include 3 residences with all amenities, out-cabins, a dining hall and indoor activity areas.

Our camp is located at the Island Natural Science School, and runs annually in July. This fun-filled, 5-day camp is an opportunity to experience a variety of exciting and active programs in the beautiful, natural setting of the Toronto Islands for campers aged 9-12 (entering grade 4 in September).

Each summer we have the opportunity to meet campers from across southern Ontario, make new friends, and share new experiences.

Campers connected around the fire, competed for glory at the Camp Olympics, and spent time getting to know themselves, and their natural environment, through art, biking, drama, and so much more. We're so excited to be back and are looking forward to another summer of fun and friends at camp.  We hope you join us :)
