Understanding Life Systems - Needs and Characteristics of Living Things

In this program, the students will explore the needs and characteristics of all living things, including both plants and animals. They will explore how animals adapt to the environment around them through analysis of their special features and behaviours.  How does it feel to be a migrating goose? What about a squirrel collecting her acorns? Through a variety of grade specific, curriculum linked, hands-on activities, learn about ecology and the environment.
