WELCOME PARENTS!
School Council is a collaborative place where parents, staff, and the
administration of Westwood work together for the improvement of the Westwood
School Community.
Council meetings offer opportunities to share information and ideas.
Working together to develop plans and strategies to strengthen current
programs and develop new activities at the school is the focus of the School
Council.
School Council meetings are usually
held the third Thursday of each month from 6:30 p.m. to 8:00
p.m. in Room 5. See the Google Calendar for confirmation.
All parents and guardians of Westwood students are invited and welcomed to
join in these monthly meeting. Parents may choose to attend all or some of the
meetings as personal availability allows.
When parents are not able to attend the monthly meetings, or would like
more information between meetings, they are invited to join the School
Council email information list by sending an email message to School
Council at westwoodschoolcouncil@gmail.com.
When sending messages, the student's name and core class is
needed to be added to the School Council contact list.
E-mails remain private and sent out via 'bcc' to ensure personal privacy.
