There are students in our school with a severe life-threatening food allergy (anaphylaxis) to peanuts and other nuts. This is a medical condition that causes a severe reaction to specific foods and can result in death within minutes. Although this may or may not affect your child’s class directly, we still ask that all foods sent to school with your child are free from peanuts and other nut products. Please check carefully the ingredients listed on any pre-packaged foods that you are sending to school as well.
