FRIDAY FEBRUARY 21:

 

Grade  7/8 Girls Volleyball Team A:

A reminder to the Grade 7/8 Girls volleyball team A of practice today at lunch.  Teachers, please allow these students to be dismissed today at 2:05 pm for their playoff game today. - Ms. Oliveira

 

Junior Choir:

There will be a Junior Choir rehearsal today at lunch in Room 204. New members are welcome! - Ms. Pierce

 

Duke's Got Talent:

A big thank you to all of you who auditioned and shared your talents with us! The Featured Performer List is now up outside Room 204. If you did not make it as a featured performer you can still be in the show as a part of our Grand Finale. There will be a mandatory meeting at 11:05 on Friday in Room 204 for all performers.

 

Grade 8 Badminton:

A reminder to all grade 8’s interested in trying out for the badminton team. The first try-out will be tomorrow morning, 7:30 am in the Woodfield Gym. Please make sure to sign the EMA form. - Ms. Newman, Ms. Frost

 

Grade 7/8 Co-ed Ball Hockey:

Congratulations to the 7/8 Co-ed Ball hockey team on an absolutely thrilling tournament yesterday at Valley Park Middle School.  The team demonstrated their best effort of the season and rallied for several impressive victories.  It was an exciting and competitive day of hockey and a great way to finish up the season.  Way to go Duke!

 

Girls 5/6 Volleyball:

Best of luck to the girls 5/6 volleyball team as they will compete in their regional tournament today here at Duke.  The girls are ready to play and we look forward to seeing them compete today.  Go Duke! - Mr. Boccia, Mr. Pedlar

Grade 8 Girls Volleyball Team A:

Due to the Music trip today, the Grade 7/8 girls volleyball practice for team A is cancelled.  We will see you tomorrow at lunch for practice in the SH Gym.  Our quarter-final game is Thursday at 3 pm in the Woodfield Gym. - Ms. Oliveira

 

Pickleball:

Pickleball is cancelled for today. - Mr. Butters

 

Duke's Got Talent:

Duke’s Got Talent re-auditions today at lunch in room 204. Please make sure you are 5 minutes early and ready to perform. The final list of performers will be posted tomorrow and there will be a mandatory meeting at lunch, 11:05 am, on Friday for all students interested in performing. This includes anyone who auditioned, did not make the final list, and would like to be a part of the grand finale.

 

Swim Team:

The Grade 8 Swim Team is cancelled today at lunch. - Mr. Aishford
