The Glen Park School Council plays an important role in supporting Glen Park students and families. Participating in the School Council is one way to meet other parents and to learn about or participate in the activities at our school. The council is made up of parent volunteers.

There are four to six official meetings during the school year where the Principal and Vice-Principal provide an update on the activities in the school and board. Parent volunteers also provide updates on the activities they lead or have attended. Parents get the chance to share their ideas for School Council events and to provide input into how School Council funds are spent. 

Our School Council organizes many wonderful activities throughout the school year. Some activities raise funds to promote and facilitate learning for our students. Others are just plain fun! A sub-committee of the council plans and puts on the annual Fun Fair. Through all these events, the parent volunteers enrich the experiences of Glen Park students and strengthen the school community.
