We bid farewell to our Vice Principal; Mrs. Kaura who has been promoted to Principal at Gulfstream Public School. Even though she was here for only a part of the year she was a huge asset to the school. We welcome Ms. Maninder Rai as our new Vice Principal. She is coming with a wealth of teaching experience and I look forward to working with her next year.

End of year letter

June 25, 2022

Dear Parents and Guardians,

It’s hard to believe that the school year has come and gone, and while I look forward to next September, I can't help but reflect on the year we had . I am amazed at the resilience of our students, our families, the staff and the community in the face of this horrible virus.  I am so very proud to be the Principal of the school.

Although many might believe that June is a month when things in the school wind down as we prepare for the summer, the truth is that over the past month we have been extremely busy, not only getting ready to finish off the current school year, but also preparing for the start to the coming year. Please keep an eye out for a TDSB communication in early August that will ask for your intentions for your children for next year. I hope that all of you will return to in person learning once again.

Much has been going on around the school to make sure our year ends on a positive note. I would like to thank the staff for their time and commitment to our students. I would also like to thank you for your on-going support of our school and our children. And the last word of thanks goes out to the students for their energy and effort over the past year. Congratulations on all of you and your achievements! You never cease to amaze me.

All of us at Gracedale P.S. wish everyone a very safe and fun-filled summer vacation. We look forward to seeing everyone back in September. To our Graduates and to those students who are moving on to new schools, we wish you all the best in the future. Have a safe, restful, and happy summer.

Sincerely,

Mr. Babiy and Mrs. Rai
