The students of the Eco Team lead several initiatives to promote sustainability and raise awareness about climate change and other environmental issues. Some of their efforts include a weekly recycling program, auditing student lunches with their Waste-free Wednesday campaign, organizing events and challenges (e.g., Walk to School Wednesdays, community clean up event, the Big Gulp, National Sweater Day), and advocating for energy conservation throughout the school building.  

The team's commitment to environmental stewardship has not only made a significant impact on our school but it also provides and example for families in our school community to follow.

Their efforts during the 2023-2024 school year earned them the prestigious Platinum Eco Schools status! This achievement is a recognition of their hard work and dedication!
