Ontario Literacy Test - Weds. March 27th
On the morning of Wednesday, March 27th ,the provincial OSSLT will be administered at Bloor CI for grade 10 students (and eligible students from other grades who have been notified). The test will take place from 9:00am-1pm.
In the afternoon, starting at 1:15pm sharp, grade 9 students will have the opportunity to write a mock Literacy Test (location details were provided by students' grade 9 English teachers.)
Also in the afternoon, students in grades 10, 11, and 12 are able to seek tutorial support from 1:15-3:15pm. Coop students need to attend their placements.

Cash On-Line is now at Bloor. This is TDSB preferred method of payment. Every student and their family will be required to register. Items will come available soon for field trips, graduation, school fees etc.

Once you have registered, you can log on to see what is available. Please check with your child(ren) that they are interested in the activity or event, before you make the purchase. Some items are available to the whole school, while other items are via grade, or classes.
New Grade 9 students for 2019 are able to work towards their 40 community hours this summer and bring in their forms or letters in September.
Students who complete more than 25 community service hours with one organization should ask for a reference letter. This will help you to build portfolios in careers class or when looking for employment in the future. The letter should be on letter head from the organization, and include the following:
- The number of hours
- The dates or time span the hours were earned within
- If possible, a description of the tasks or duties completed
- If possible, a description of the skills learned with this position
- If possible, any commendations of outstanding works
