What is TALC Magazine really about?
TALC Magazine celebrates student achievement and classroom work while also highlighting school-wide events, initiatives, campaigns, projects, and library programs. Students are invited to contribute their artwork, writing, class work, experiences, accomplishments, and stories.
More than a collection of student work, the magazine is a platform for student voice. Adult learners bring unique experiences and perspectives to their classrooms, and TALC Magazine provides an opportunity for those voices to reach beyond an individual classroom or school. Students can share what matters to them, celebrate their identities and experiences, and inspire others across the adult learning community.
The magazine also connects educators across sites by showcasing what is happening in different classrooms and schools. By sharing student projects, teaching ideas, initiatives, and resources, TALC Magazine encourages greater collaboration and connection across our adult learning community.
