Hi, my name is Catherine (Nester) Hankey and I am the Child and Youth Worker here at Central Etobicoke High School. I work closely with students, teachers, parents, outside agencies, our school social worker, student success teacher and the school administration to ensure all students receive the support they require. This support is often delivered in a way as to best support the individual social, emotional and academic needs of our learners.  I also attend all In School Team (IST) and School Support Team (SST) meetings, Community Collaborative Meetings, as well as small formal and informal one-on-one meetings that often include parents, teachers, administration and students.
 
Throughout the academic year, I initiate and run a number of student groups. These include:

• Life/Social Skills Student Groups
• Boys 2 Men Group
• Girls Support Network
