Principal's Message

Welcome to the Central Etobicoke High School website. Central Etobicoke High School is a unique educational environment that provides a modified program to an array of exceptional students. Our focus is on an inclusive environment that develops both the academic and the social/emotional needs of all our students.

Toronto District School Board (TDSB) is committed to equity and inclusion. We are committed to ensuring that all students learn in a supportive and inclusive environment where all voices are valued and heard.  Our goal is to support each student's unique needs and ensure that they are provided programs that build on their strengths and interests while ensuring they are prepared for the outside world.

We offer a full complement of core courses (English, Math, Science). Additionally we offer courses in Food Services, Baking, Automotive, Woodworking, Horticulture, Leadership and Yearbook Publishing. Fitness and Athletics are also important components of our school. At Central we support academic, physical and emotional development. The whole student is supported.

Supports for our students are many and include access to an Occupational/Physical Therapist, Social Worker, Child and Youth Worker, plus our partnerships with ECPP - Lumenus and PATH, as well as, Post-21.

At Central Etobicoke, our continuum of learning includes both non-credit and credit courses. Depending on the needs of the student, the school day may work within a contained or rotating course program. CEHS offers courses at the Locally Developed, Workplace and “K” (non-credit) levels, which allows students to complete their programs at Central Etobicoke with either an Ontario Secondary School Certificate (OSSC) or a Certificate of Achievement (COA).

We welcome parent/family and community involvement and look forward to learning from our stakeholders.  Please contact us if you would like to be part of our School Council or be involved in other ways.

For any inquiries, please contact the school at 416-394-7090.

Go Eagles!
