I hope you and your families are safe and healthy as we begin to move beyond the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic impacting our whole community.  We are committed to bringing back "Joy, Engagement and a Sense of Belonging" to school as we re-connect staff with students and re-establish home-school partnerships to support our children's learning.  Our teachers will continue to use an electronic platform to keep connected to your homes, using Google Meet and/or Brightspace. 

We will also continue our daily health screening and hygiene practices for everyone's safety.  Please check your child for multiple symptoms before leaving for school and stay home if there are significant signs of illness.  We can provide families with a COVID-19 rapid test if needed.  Students and staff have a choice to wear a mask, but we do recommend wearing a mask when the Fall weather starts to create coughs and sniffles for everyone.

Let's keep with some good practices to keep everyone healthy.  Eat and sleep well, wash and sanitize your hands often, and practice social distancing and we can all remain back in school and back to normal learning routines.

With caution and encouragement, we are hoping that our students will return to Chalkfarm PS ready to put forth their best effort to achieve success socially and academically at school.  We will engage them in hand-on learning opportunities, offer a variety of experiential learning like field trips and integrated learning like STEM activities, offer extra-curricular activities in the arts and athletics, and build 21st Century job skills like collaboration and problem-solving through cooperative games.  It's time to encourage students to have fun, make new and build lasting friendships.
