Welcome to Chief Dan George PS! CDG first opened its doors in 1984, and was named after Chief Dan George, a First Nations author and film actor from British Columbia. CDG is located east of Meadowvale Road, between Hwy. 401 and the Rouge River. CDG has over 225 students in Kindergarten through Grade 8. We are fortunate to have a French Immersion program from JK-Grade 8.
At CDG, our students are kind, clever and demonstrate creativity in a variety of ways. We continue to strive toward incorporating STEM and robotics in all grade levels. Digital literacy and information technology are key aspects of the instructional program.
