Chief Dan George Public School, opened in 1984, is located east of Meadowvale Road, between Hwy. 401 and the Rouge River. Its boundaries include the rural area north of the Toronto Zoo and east to the Pickering Town Line. It is named after Chief Dan George, a well-known author and film actor from British Columbia. Our school community is comprised of students from the local area and from September, 2013, students who are bussed in for JK to Grade 8 French Immersion Program. Our school enrolment stands at 369 and continues to grow as new students move into the boundaries of our school community. Welcome to Chief Dan George P.S.!
