Preparing for Grade 9
The transition from Grade 8 to secondary school is an important milestone for CWSA students and families.
Throughout the transition process, students are encouraged to explore secondary school programs, consider their academic and artistic interests, and make informed decisions about their next steps.
Families should review the Toronto District School Board's Beyond 8 resources, which provide guidance on secondary school options, admissions, course selection and preparing for Grade 9.
Exploring Secondary School Options
The TDSB offers a range of secondary school pathways, including neighbourhood schools, specialized programs, alternative schools and other program options.
Students and families can learn more through secondary school information sessions, open houses and the Board's admissions resources.
