FAMILIES OF GRADE 8 STUDENTS - IMPORTANT COURSE SELECTION UPDATE FOR GRADE 9:

We are in the process of reviewing and submitting course selections for high school.  In class, students will select a high school and courses for Grade 9.  This must be completed by February 26. 

All students entering Grade 9 must take a total of 8 courses plus two alternate courses.  These courses include:

• English - ENL1W
• Math - MTH1W
• Science - SNC1W
• French - FSF1D
• Geography - CGC1W
• Physical Education - PPL1O or PAF1O
• Two elective courses (arts and an elective)
• Two alternate courses (arts and an elective)                                                                                           

• After these selections are reviewed in class, students will be prompted to Review and Submit course selections. At this point, a preferred parental/guardian email address is required, for parents reviewing and approving the course selections.  Please ensure that you have provided the most accurate email address. Note - If email is not a possibility, we can print off course selections for approval (which must be signed and returned).                                                                                                                                                                                                                    
• After reviewing your child’s course selection, parents are asked to select either ACCEPT or REJECT.   This is an important part of the course selection process, and it will let us know that we can move on to finalizing selections and sending the information to the appropriate High School.
