About the Equinox Winter Fair

Each December, Equinox Holistic Alternative School transforms into a sparkling winter wonderland—full of magic, community spirit, and joyful surprises for children and families alike. 

On Sunday, December 7, 2025 (11am–3pm), our beloved Winter Fair returns, inviting you to step into a world of enchantment right here at school.

A treasured annual tradition, the Winter Fair brings together hearty food, homegrown entertainment, enchanted activities for younger children, and leadership opportunities for our older students. 

It’s a celebration of everything that makes Equinox special—and a vital fundraiser supporting school community events, arts and sports programming, classroom enrichment, and experiential learning. A portion of proceeds is also donated to the Glen Rhodes Food Bank, extending the Fair’s magic into the wider community.

The Winter Fair passport is the golden ticket to a full day of fun and wonder.
For just $20, each passport includes:

🎄 Unlimited access to core Fair activities
🍪 10 tickets for food, treats, and the children’s store
✨ A keepsake that lets children explore freely—with fewer lineups and more joy

It takes a village

The Winter Fair is one of Equinox’s largest community undertakings—and we need many hands to bring it to life. If you love organizing, crafting, cooking, or simply being part of something joyful, we would love to have you volunteer. Opportunities range from occasional help to more involved roles, and all contributions are greatly appreciated.

Ways to help include:

• Donating baked goods or handmade items for the Bake Sale or Children’s Store
• Supporting set-up or tear-down, especially on Friday, Dec. 5 (1–8 p.m.) or directly after the fair at 3 p.m. on Dec. 7
