Glenview Senior Public School was built in 1966 and is in the Lawrence Park area at Avenue Road. Glenview is committed to preparing the 21st century learner through the maintenance of high academic expectations in its triple-track programs English, French Immersion and French Extended; through its inclusive and equitable practices that recognize the uniqueness, lived experiences and voices of all students and staff; and by maintaining an environment that fosters student and staff wellbeing.
The Glenview experience is supported by a dedicated and committed staff of teachers, educators (i.e. educational & special needs assistants, lunchroom supervisors), office and caretaking staff, administrators, the Glenview School Council, Superintendent Andrew Howard, and School Trustee Shelley Laskin.
Centred around co-constructed principles of land and environmental care, equity, rights and responsibilities, truth, courage, sharing and respect, online safety and peace, our hope is for students to reach high levels of achievement in a safe and secure learning environment that offers opportunities for self-development and citizenship through various curricular and co-curricular experiences.
