Glenview students participate in 3 different music programs at Glenview
1. Instrumental Music - Band - Students actively engage in performance of repertoire on various band instruments.
Instruments that Glenview offers to beginners in grade 7 - Flute, Clarinet, French Horn, Trumpet, Trombone and Percussion.
Experienced students and some beginners can then gradually transition to - Piccolo, Oboe, Bassoon, Bass Clarinet, Alto Saxophone, Tenor Saxophone, Baritone Saxophone, Baritone and Tuba.
2. Instrumental Music - Strings - Students actively engage in performance of repertoire on various string instruments.
Instruments that Glenview offer include - Violin, Viola, Cello and Double Bass
3. General Music Program - an in depth study of music history, appreciation, culture and application in the real world. Students will have an opportunity to do some singing and also some tech-related projects.
