School Rules

School Expectations

Be Respectful

Respect is being careful and thoughtful with other people.  Parents and children show respect with kind words and actions.  Respect helps everyone feel welcome, comfortable and safe while being mindful and accepting of everybody’s gifts.

We can demonstrate respect by being aware of other people’s, time, care, effort, strengths and areas of need, that is brought into any endeavour that we attempt to accomplish.

Be Organized

Organization demonstrates to others that you are interested and ready to be productive at school.  Agendas should go back and forth between homes and school, consistently, to ensure proper communication between, students, teachers and parents.  It is important to have all the necessary tools for learning helps us chip away at the challenging tasks ahead.

Be Safe

Safety is a high priority at Greenholme and following established rules and guidelines, that are set out by the board, the school and the classroom, ensures that everybody involved will maximize their potential for physical and emotional safety.

Be Honest

Honesty ensures that everyone gives themselves the potential of achieving the best to their abilities while using the resources (books, peers, teachers, technology, etc…) around them.  If you are unsure of anything, be honest with yourself and ask questions.  If you are unable to participate in an activity, communicate it.

We all must also be accepting and understanding of the feedback and look to be reflective on our next steps to truly reach our common goal, improvement.
