Starting school is an exciting time for your child. Our school provide a rich learning environment for all children to learn and grow.
In our Full Day Kindergarten program, your child will develop their skills and abilities through inquiry and play-based learning. Teachers plan learning experiences where children are actively engaged in learning and thinking creatively.
Children can attend Junior Kindergarten in the calendar year that they turn four and Senior Kindergarten in the year that they turn five.

There are two ways to register for Kindergarten at HA Halbert Jr. PS.
Regardless of the process you choose to register (online or virtual face to face), both will end up with the families speaking with Mrs. Khan, our Office Administrator to verify proof of address, birth certificate, proof of immunization and/or verification of proof of arrival.
All newly registered Kindergarten students are also invited to participate in a "Meet a Kindergarten Teacher" sessions in the last week of February. Each family will be scheduled to connect with one of our current Kindergarten teachers to begin the transition process!
