REGISTRATION

We welcome all families who live in the Jean Lumb Public School attendance area (Attendance Area) to register their child/children (Junior Kindergarten to Grade 8).

NOTE: Jean Lumb PS is CLOSED to Out of Area Attendance for the 2023/2024 and 2024/2025 school years. Students who do not live within our catchment area cannot register to attend. 

HOW TO REGISTER:

Child currently a student at a TDSB school?

E-mail the school - jeanlumbpublicschool@tdsb.on.ca.

Please include the following information in your e-mail:

  • Child(ren)'s name and Birth Date(s)
  • Current address
  • Name of TDSB school child(ren) is currently attending.  (This will let us know who to contact to complete the transfer.)
  • Your name and relationship to the child(ren)
  • Your phone number (where our office staff can reach you during the day, Monday to Friday).

Our office staff will contact you as soon as possible to provide you with the next steps.

(NOTE: Proof of Address will be required as part of the registration process.  Two current documents are required. Please have any TWO of the following original documents (current) available: Lease/Rental or Purchase & Sale Agreement; Property Tax Bill; Recent correspondence from a Municipal, Provinical or Federal Government Agency; Utility Bill received by mail (water, hydro, gas, home phone, cable, internet); Income Tax Assessment (most recent) - Driver's License is not accepted as proof of address.)

Child new to the TDSB?

Step 1 - Complete the online registration form. (ONLY for students NEW to the TDSB.)

Step 2 - Our office staff will contact you as soon as possible to provide you with the next steps, including how to finalize the registration.

NOTE - The following documents will be required to finalize the registration:

  • Proof of address: Any TWO of the following original documents (current) available: Lease/Rental or Purchase & Sale Agreement; Property Tax Bill; Recent correspondence from a Municipal, Provinical or Federal Government Agency; Utility Bill received by mail (water, hydro, gas, home phone, cable, internet); Income Tax Assessment (most recent) - Driver's License is not accepted as proof of address.
  • Proof of child’s age (birth certificate, Canadian passport, Canadian Citizenship card or certificate or baptismal record)
  • Proof of Canadian Citizenship or Eligible Immigration Status and First Entry into Canada. Families who are permanent residents and refugee claimants may register directly at the school. Children without immigration status are welcome in our schools and information about them or their families will not be shared with immigration authorities
