On Thursday, November 27, 2008, parents, guests and Ms. Kain had the opportunity to see an evening filled with Drama/Dance, Vocal Music and Visual Arts. Students performed a student written poetry piece which represented Ms. Kain's life and accomplishments. Ms. Kain spoke about the significance of the Arts and Education. She was visibly touched by the honour of having the school named after her. Following the presentation, guests toured the school and mingled in the halls.
