At Karen Kain School of the Arts, we believe in the safety and well-being of all our students. Clothing which is appropriate and not offensive contributes to the positive environment we are establishing.
It is expected that students and staff should dress appropriately for the school setting. 'Appropriate' will be defined here as right and correct for the school setting and functions, conducive to learning and shall not distract from the learning process.
It is expected that each KKSA student will maintain a proper mode of dress, both during the school day and at all school activities. If in the judgment of supervising adults a student is dressed inappropriately, the student will be required to change clothes or cover up inappropriate clothing before returning to classes.
