In October 2014, KKSA students had an opportunity to see how art and environmental awareness can be brought together in our community. Roadsworth is a stencil street artist originally from Toronto who came to talk with students about how art can be an effective tool to educate people as they walk or drive through our cities and our communities. Roadsworth shared his work with us, answered students'  thoughtful questions, and even lead us to create our very own environmental stencil mural in our school. Last year, students created stencil art in our front parking lot to communicate environmental and safety rules with drivers, such as "no idling."
