Parent-Teacher Interviews

Parent Teacher Night will occur Thursday March 27th from 1-3:15pm in the afternoon (virtual) & 5:30-7:30pm in the evening (in-person).

You will find the system very easy to use and it will take only a few minutes to setup your account, your children and your appointments. To register for an account, click on the "REGISTER" tab at the top of the School Appointments website

You may select appointment times for your child beginning on Tuesday, March 18, 2025 @ 9:00 AM. 

We have two (2) available blocks for the Thursday, March 27, 2025 Parent/Guardian-Teacher Interviews:

  • 1:00-3:15 PM, these appointments will be VIRTUAL (teachers will email a link), and
  • 5:30-7:30 PM, these appointments will be IN-PERSON

*Interviews will be 5 minutes*

Should neither of these times be convenient, please make arrangements with individual teachers.

Bookings will no longer be available AFTER 4:00 PM on Wednesday, March 26, 2025. 

Sr. Boys Basketball Finishes 10th at O.F.S.A.A.

Leaside's Senior Boys Basketball Team ended the season by placing tenth in the province. The team finished the tournament 3-2 at the Boys AAA O.F.S.A.A. Championships.

The Lancers were the runner's up in the T.D.S.S.A.A. City Finals. The team also beat Oakwood 76-74 in double-overtime game to claim the  South Region Championship.

Black History Month History Assembly

Dr. Jean Augustine - the first African-Canadian woman to be elected to Canada’s House of Commons & to serve as a Minister in the Government of Canada - participated in an interactive Question & Answer period with Leaside students to commemorate Black History Month. The assemblies were engaging & insight for staff & students alike.

Grade 8 Students & Parents

Out-of-Area Admissions

Leaside High School is currently closed to out of area admissions for all programs (english, french immersion); therefore, to attend leaside high school (english program only), you must live in the leaside high school catchment area.

Service Dog Information

Leaside High School has a Service Dog who can be found in our Guidance Department office.

The service dog is not a pet and will be easily identifiable by wearing a vest.

When the dog is wearing the vest, she is working and should not be disturbed.

To ensure an undisturbed learning environment, the dog will primarily be stationed in the Guidance Department office.

The dog will always be leashed when entering or leaving the school premises.

Accommodations will be made for students with severe dog allergies.
