Moratorium & Exam Schedule

Before the Final Exams begin, the Moratorium Period will take place from January 16 to January 21, 2025. During this period, some students may have an exam if there is only one class offering of a course this semester. The school day schedule has been adjusted slightly to accommodate this. Classroom teachers will provide further details. Please note that no new work or assignments will be given during the Moratorium Period.

Sr. & Jr. Girls Volleyball Win Earl Haig Tournaments

Congratulations to the Leaside Lancers Senior & Junior Girls Volleyball teams for winning both Earl Haig S.S.'s Junior & Senior tournaments on December 12th and 13th. Well done Lancers!

Grade 8 Students & Parents

Out-of-Area Admissions

Leaside High School is currently closed to out of area admissions for all programs (english, french immersion); therefore, to attend leaside high school (english program only), you must live in the leaside high school catchment area.

Service Dog Information

Leaside High School has a Service Dog who can be found in our Guidance Department office.

The service dog is not a pet and will be easily identifiable by wearing a vest.

When the dog is wearing the vest, she is working and should not be disturbed.

To ensure an undisturbed learning environment, the dog will primarily be stationed in the Guidance Department office.

The dog will always be leashed when entering or leaving the school premises.

Accommodations will be made for students with severe dog allergies.
