CONSEQUENCES:

Everyone at Lescon works together to recognize and support positive, appropriate behaviours.  Like any school with hundreds of young children we also deal with negative behaviours fairly and promptly.  Consequences for inappropriate behaviour may include:

  • Receiving a warning
  • Time out of an activity
  • Discussions and counseling with supervisors or teachers
  • Discussion with the Principal
  • Detention, or exclusion from class or from one or more school activities
  • Loss of privileges
  • Involvement of parents and/or caregivers
  • Payment for repair or replacement of any damaged property
  • Informal withdrawal from school
  • Formal suspension (refer to TDSB Consequences of Inappropriate Student Behaviour, section D.3, revised June 2008)

The process to deal with any questions or concerns is to raise them with the teacher and then the school principal.
