Our goal is to keep all our students safe. Safety is a priority to all of us. With this in mind, we kindly request your help by following some school drop off/pick up procedures:
- When picking up students in the back, please stand away from the doors and allow all students to exit the building without crowding them. You can make a meeting place with your child away from the doorway and closer to the grassy area.
- Please do not park directly in front of the school. It is a bus only area. Cars will be ticketed that are parked on the opposite side of the street. You can drive further up the road or park on a side street. Even better, you can walk to pick up your child, if possible. We need to keep the roadway clear in front of the school.
- Please do not block the flow of traffic by doing U-turns in front of the school.
- There is limited space in our parking lot. You may only park in the lot is a designated parking space. Please do not block other cars in the parking lot by parking in a lane.
SAFETY – Common Sense Prevails!
Climbers/Playground Area
Students should:
. travel with care on the climbers;
. use the climber equipment for its actual purpose;
. respect the space of others without pushing;
. be sure to clear the slide before the next student goes down each time; remember the rule “one at a time”; and not bring other equipment into this area.
Pavement
. King’s Court (Four Square), basketball and other activities should be played in their designated areas to provide opportunities for other pavement games to be played safely;
. football and soccer are field sports
. balls should not be played within the area by the parking lot
