Registration is ongoing for the new school year. Starting school is an exciting time of many firsts for your child. At Lucy Maud Montgomery Public School we work hard to make the transition to school as welcoming as possible and strive to make the Kindergarten experience fun and rewarding.

For the school year 2019-2020, children born in 2015 will attend Junior Kindergarten and children born in 2014 will attend Senior Kindergarten.

Parents who have a child with special needs should also make an appointment with the principal to discuss your child’s placement. 

You will require documentation to complete the registration. Acceptable documentation includes:
• Your child’s birth certificate, if born in Canada
• Passport or immigration document
• Permanent Resident Card (if applicable)
• Health Card
• Immunization Record
• Custody order with access options (if applicable)

You will also need to provide two pieces of personal identification with your name and address, Home purchase agreement, tenancy agreement, etc. (A Drivers License or Health Card are not acceptable ID).

Parents on work visas or with refugee status may contact the school directly for registration. If you are unsure of your documentation or or are an International student please contact the Toronto District School Board, Admissions Office at 5050 Yonge Street, 416-395-8109 to obtain a letter of admission to a Toronto District School Board school.
