Hi Park Lawn families! 👋
We’re so glad you’re here. The Parent Council (a.k.a. School Advisory Council, or SAC) is made up of parents and guardians like you, along with our principals, teachers, and an elected group of parent volunteers. Together, we’re here to help build a stronger school community for our kids.
What do we do?
Parent Council connects families, teachers, school staff, and the broader community. We work on fun events, fundraising initiatives, and school improvement projects—all with the goal of making Park Lawn an even better place for our kids to learn and grow.
We also share feedback with the principal and school board on topics like curriculum, safety, budget priorities, and overall student well-being.

How to Join In
Being part of Parent Council is easy—and fun! Just come to a meeting to listen, share ideas, and connect with other parents.
Want to be a voting member? Sign up at our first meeting and keep attending (don’t miss more than three meetings). Voting members can help make decisions on events, budgets, and school initiatives. Voting members are also strongly encouraged to lead one of our committees.
