Guidance Department

Our Guidance Department is here to assist students with their academic development and to promote and encourage personal/social development and career development by working collaboratively with students, teachers, parents, and the community.

Our programs and services are designed to help students with timetable issues, course selection, post-secondary planning, financial planning (e.g. Scholarships and OSAP), career exploration, social/emotional support, and settlement support.  If a student, or parent, has a question and are unsure where to find the answer, they should make the Guidance Department their first stop.  If we do not know the answer, we can help connect you with the appropriate supports.

Through our Guidance Department, students and parents can access the support of a variety of professionals including Guidance Counsellors, Social Worker, Child & Youth Worker, Child & Youth Counsellor, and Settlement Workers. If you would like more information about the services that are available, please request a meeting with your Guidance Counsellor.

All communication regarding community service hours, scholarships, job opportunities, summer and night school, how to apply to college and university, guest speakers and other important information is sent via our Guidance Google Classrooms:
