The Special Education Department acts as an umbrella support system for students who have been identified with a learning exceptionality by an IPRC (Identification Placement and Review Committee) or who are not identified, but have received Special Ed support in the past. In some cases, students are simply monitored by a Special Ed teacher and receive support when needed or requested.

Special Education course include GLE1O/GLE2O -Learning Strategies: Skills for Success in Secondary School and GLE3O/GLE4O - Advanced :earning Strategies: Skills for Success After Secondary School.
