We believe that our parent community is an important part of the success of our students and school. We encourage parents and guardians to be active partners in the school. We also hope that you will take advantage of the many opportunities for parents to become involved by attending school events, helping out on school trips or during classroom visits by Scientists in School or by becoming an active member of the School Council.

The School Council meets on a regular basis and all parents are welcome to attend the meetings. It is a great way to meet other parents and learn more about your child’s school. The School Council organizes numerous activities and special events throughout the year. These events enrich our students’ school experience, as well as raise funds for field trips and school equipment.

Communication between home and school is of vital importance to us. We are always just a phone call away. Working together we can ensure that all our Sloane students have a memorable and rewarding learning experience.
