Starting school is an exciting time of many firsts for your child. At Sloane we work hard to make the transition to school as welcoming as possible. No matter at which grade level your child enters Sloane Public School, we strive to make the experience fun and rewarding.

Parents with a special needs child should make an appointment with the Principal to discuss your child’s placement before registration.
You will require the following documentation to complete the registration:
Documentation required for registration includes the ORIGINAL of:
• Your child’s birth certificate, if born in Canada, or passport with immigration status
• Permanent Resident Card (if applicable)
• Health Card
• Immunization Record
• Two pieces of personal identification with your name and address
• Custody order with access options (if applicable)
Parents on work visas or with refugee status may contact the school directly for registration. International students or those unsure of documentation should contact the Toronto District School Board, Admissions Office at 5050 Yonge Street, 416-395-8109 to obtain a letter of admission to a Toronto District School Board school.
