We are excited to be a Platinum school and will work hard to maintain our Platinum EcoSchool status!

We will continue to reduce our energy consumption and sort our waste.  This year we have a green bin program and look forward to reduciing our landfill waste by putting food, tissues and paper towels in the green bin. 

All waste from lunches (inclunding food, garbage and recycling materials) will continue to be Boomeranged home and we will also celebrate Waste Free lunches on occassion.  Stay tuned for more updates!

Each week our Energy Team checks to ensure all classes have their lights turned off when they are not in the room.  They also check to make sure vents are clear and blinds are closed at the end of the day.  Finally they check to make sure bins are paired and sorted so there is no garbage in the recycling and no recycling in the garbage.
