- The TDSB has introduced a new network password policy for both students and staff. Effective immediately, new passwords must meet the following criteria:
- Must not contain your first or last name
- Must be a minimum of 8 characters
- Must be different than last 5 passwords
- Must contain 3 of the following 4 criteria:
- Uppercase character(s)
- Lowercase character(s)
- Number(s)
- Special character(s)
Passwords for students and staff expire after 180 and 90 days, respectively.

- If your security questions are setup, you can use the same link above to reset your own password by answering your security questions correctly
- Alternatively, students can ask a staff member to have their password reset
Passwords reset to the shared secret password use the template SSSSDDMM@Tdsb where:
- SSSS stands for the last 4 digits of your student number (for students) or your social insurance number (for staff)
- DD stands for your day of birth
- MM stands for your month of birth
