Topcliff Relationships: Partnerships & Agencies

A Huge Topcliff Thank You!

Topcliff values all the relationships that they build within the community.  Agencies and programs are a component of creating the supportive community that children require to achieve their best.  Thank you to all of those community members who add to our students' life experiences.

State Street Visits Topcliff

On June 14th, a group of 20 volunteers from State Street Global Advisors Ltd spent a day with our students at Topcliff.  One group of volunteers read picture books to our students in kindergarten to grade 2 classes.  A second group of volunteers worked with students in grade 3 to 5, on our courtyard and front of school gardens.  Thank-you for the beautiful plants and amazing picture books for our school library.  Most importantly, thank-you for spending time with our students!

ForKICKS Program

Topcliff has formed an invaluable partnership with the ForKICKS program that is run out of the 31 Division.  Sgt. Hicks and the police officers have become invaluable members of our community.
Check out what they are up to at their website ForKICKS
Their involvement with our students and community is never-ending.  We have had our parents participate in their flag football coaching training, gone to an Argos game, held a holiday lunch, participated in Swim to Survive program, fundraised for the Sick Kids Toy Drive, gone skating, gone to a Toronto FC game, participated in anti-bullying sessions, participated in a flag football tournament at the Damon Allen Quarterback Challenge and we always look forward to seeing them when they can join us for our weekly flag football games.

ForKICKS

Damon Allen, former Toronto Argonaut quarterback, motivated our Grade 4 and 5 students by leading a discussion around goal-setting. He encouraged our students to believe in themselves and chase their dreams! We thank ForKicks for organizing this special opportunity!
