William G. Miller is a JK to Grade 8 school located at the end of Bennett Road, south of Lawrence Avenue East, between Morningside Ave. and Port Union Rd. The school opened in 1958 and was named in honour of the late William G. Miller, who served as trustee in south Scarborough.

Our school serves approximately 450 students. We represent 26 different language groups from 18 countries around the globe.

William G. Miller is a dual track school offering both regular English (Full Day JK–8) and Early French Immersion (Full day JK-8) programs. The only entry point for Early French Immersion is at the Junior Kindergarten level. Applications for Early French Immersion begin in November and it is an online process.

We have an experienced, caring and committed staff. We offer a balanced, challenging and comprehensive program.

Two independent before and after-school child care programs offered by the YMCA, whose philosophy supports and extends that of the schools, are housed in the building. One is exclusively for the Kindergarten aged children and the other for the school aged children.
