At Blaydon Public School, staff, students and the community are focused on developing our positive mental health and well-being. Through a variety of strategies and activities, students are learning how to manage their feelings of stress, anxiety and anger. We are also learning about different hobbies and activities that can help us feel more focused, relaxed and increase our overall sense of well-being. As a result, we started Wellness Wednesdays which takes place once a month. Each teacher organizes a fun workshop that students in grades 1-5 sign-up for. It's also a wonderful opportunity for junior students to mentor our younger ones.
