At Balmy Beach, we are committed to continuously improving classroom learning and promoting student health, focus and well-being. 

We adhere to the TDSB’s Board Code of Conduct, which has been recently updated to reflect the latest Ministry direction around cell phone and mobile device use in Ontario schools. The new Ministry direction went into effect on September 1, 2024, and states that students’ use of mobile devices (eg, cell phones and Smartwatches) in schools is now restricted during instructional time. For students in kindergarten to Grade 6, this restriction applies to the entire school day.
