Head Start to High School

On Wednesday, August 31, Bloor Collegiate Institute welcomes all NEW Grade 9 students to join us for a morning of Head Start to High School. To sign up for this 9am to 11:30am event on Wednesday, August 31, please fill out this form.

Please note this event is for grade 9 students only.

We expect students to arrive by 8:45am to sign in as our activities will begin on the CTS field at 9am sharp!

New Grade 9 Families Welcome Night

As new Grade 9 students get ready to join BCI in September 2022, we would like to welcome all of you together to an online ZOOM event on Tuesday, May 31, 2022 from 6:30 PM to 7:30 PM.

The New Grade 9 Families Welcome event will feature a number of student voices from grades 9 to 12. Our students are super excited to welcome new families to the Bloor CI community and speak to you about all things Bloor:The benefits of joining student clubs, the support and services available to Bloor CI Students, advice about transition to high school, and to let you know about student learning and other relevant high school experiences.

If you would like to join this New Grade 9 Families Welcome on Tuesday, May 31, please complete this Google Form and submit it by Friday, May 27. There is also an opportunity to ask us any pressing questions that you may have in this form.

We are attempting to answer your questions on this Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) page, but will also respond directly to families who have submitted very specific questions. 

We look forward to seeing you online on Tuesday, May 31 at 6:30 PM. Families who sign up will be able to access the Zoom meeting link from the Bloor CI website about an hour before the event.

Every Friday from 12-1pm, students can connect virtually with a Child and Youth Counsellor and have an opportunity to talk about their mental health, relationships, etc.
