At Clairlea, “You Matter” or “Tu comptes” is more than just a tagline—it is the commitment we use to close every morning announcement, reflecting our deep dedication to the well-being of our students, staff, and broader community.

Since joining Clairlea in September 2024, my core belief has been reinforced every day: success is never about "I"—WE make a difference together. As a bilingual educator who grew up in French Immersion, I am deeply passionate about language learning and inspiring student voice through the arts. Behind the scenes, extraordinary things happen every day thanks to our team’s collective effort, mutual respect, and shared dedication.

Working alongside our vice-principal, students, families, office and caretaking team, teachers, support staff, lunchroom supervisors, volunteers, School Council, Family of Schools (FOS), and community partners, we approach every opportunity with open minds. We are grounded in data-informed, solution-based practices that prioritize equity, anti-oppression, and academic excellence. By fostering student well-being, creativity, and a strong sense of belonging, we ensure Clairlea is a safe, nurturing environment where every child can truly thrive.
