Corvette Junior Public School is a large, community-based school (in the Kennedy Road & Eglinton Avenue area), drawing on the many strengths of a culturally diverse neighbourhood.

Curriculum open houses, student recognition assemblies, breakfast club, community barbecues, special events, co-curricular programs, and school volunteers are important traditions at our school.

Corvette is also a Model School. The TDSB has developed the Model Schools for Inner Cities initiative to provide students with the tools, resources and opportunities they need to participate fully and equally in school and their communities. Model schools provide strong, visionary leadership. Children, families and communities are brought together into the educational environment as participants and partners in the learning process, with the school becoming the "Heart of the Community".

Our school is very proud of our expanding French Immersion Program.  At present, we have students enrolled in Early French Immersion from Senior Kindergarten to Grade 6.
