Important
Regarding assignments...as this course has a very heavy math component, your success depends on keeping up with the daily work and assignments. Assignments are due by 3:30pm on the posted date. The absolute deadline for assignments is 1 week after the posted due date. Assignments submitted during this time will be marked provided the class set has not yet been marked. One the class set is marked, any assignments submitted during this time will be checked for completeness then omitted from your average. You are allowed one omitted assignment in this course.
Regarding tests...any missed tests must be followed up with a note from a parent or guardian indicating that they knew you were away on a test day. Arrangements may be made to make up the test.
Regarding quizzes...quizzes are essentially mini practice tests. Any quiz mark that brings down your overall course mark will be omitted from your average at the end of the semester. Missed quizzes are lost opportunities for practice. A note is not required following a missed quiz. A copy of the missed quiz will be provided if requested.
