Our Functional Math program focuses on real-life skills that build independence for students in the MID and DD programs. Students learn practical math such as counting, using money, telling time, managing schedules, budgeting, and understanding “more/less” and simple proportional reasoning in everyday situations. Lessons are hands-on and connected to community, workplace, and daily living skills to help students apply math confidently beyond the classroom.
