Haig Business students are expanding their horizons beyond the classroom through a series of
dynamic field trips, competitions, and certification programs designed to immerse them in the world of
finance, business, and professional development. The Business Department is committed to developing confidence, technical and 21st century transferable skills in the students that enroll in our courses. We seek to provide all students with true experiential learning.
We have a myriad of teams and clubs connected to our subject area. These are headlined by Business Society, DECA, FBLC, and Accounting & Finance Club. Our department also provides students with the opportunity to earn a certificate of achievement in completing a series of courses and experiences within our department. We want our students to see themselves in our classroom activities and experiences provided to them. We are one, if not the, most pursued academic areas in post secondary education for Earl Haig graduates. We pride ourselves on preparing our students above and beyond their own expectations.
